SEnergy is seeking a Systems Administrator join the IT Team.

The candidate will be required to critically think and engage with stakeholders across the organization to drive forward projects while protecting Company assets.

Responsibilities:
  • User Support
    • Onboarding and offboarding employees
    • Building out user laptops with applications and accounts
    • Desktop
    • Operating System
    • VPN
    • Applications (Over 60)
      • Examples: AutoCAD, O365, Engineering apps, etc.
  • Server support
    • Server OS updates
    • Troubleshooting server applications: License servers, print servers, etc.
  • Security
    • Endpoint patching
    • Server patching
    • Vulnerability scanning/testing
    • Firewall monitoring / policy updates
  • Conference rooms
    • Assist with meeting setups when required

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security or related and 3 - 5 years’ experience with on-the-job training; must have experience in hardware, software, networking, phone system management and troubleshooting Microsoft servers and desktops.
  • Technical requirements:
    • Microsoft Server and Desktop OS’s (Win 7/10, Server 2008, 2012, 2016)
    • Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, Exchange; Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Office Suite; Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Carlson Survey);
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining virtualization infrastructure (VMWare, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS);
  • Network setup and troubleshooting experience:
    •  Enterprise routers, switches and networking gear (Cisco ASA, Dell PowerEdge, Meraki, Untangle, Cisco VPN (IPSEC/SSL), or similar), DHCP, DNS, IP v4/6, TCP/UDP, Active Directory
  • Phone system setup and management:
    • PBX/VOIP (Mitel or similar) and Mobile devices (Apple iOS and Apple MDM)
  • Understanding of software architecture and operation with respect to troubleshooting software application issues
  • Intermediate Proficiency in:
    • Windows Server: 2003, 2008, 2012,2016, 2019; Windows desktop OS: Windows 7, 10; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft Exchange, O365
    • Autodesk product line (Installation and license management);
    • Hypervisor experience: Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware; Phone systems, on-premise and cloud
    • Firewall: Detailed programming and policy management
    • Networks: Switches, Firewalls, IDS/IPS; Storage systems: NAS, SAN, DAS; Entry level programming/ scripting experience: (VB, SQL, PowerShell)
    • Understanding of use and implementation of multiple vendor hardware/software.
